Coffee and Brunch in Drumcondra: Sit Down for Both
Coffee that comes with brunch: what is on the coffee bar, what to eat with it, and where to sit down with both in Drumcondra.

If your flight leaves later in the day, breakfast on the way to Dublin Airport is a lovely way to start a trip. Our café is at 94 Drumcondra Road Lower, on the road from the city centre towards the airport, and the airport is only about 8 km away. Sit down to a proper plate of eggs, have a good coffee, and then head north.
This guide covers our opening times, what to order when you’re short on time, how to get from Drumcondra to the airport, and a few easy tips to keep the morning relaxed.

We open at 10am from Monday to Friday, 9am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday. Breakfast is served until 12.30 on weekdays and 1pm at the weekend, and after that our all day menu has tartines, toasties, bowls and soup.
That makes us a good fit for late morning, afternoon and evening flights. If you’re on an early flight, we’re not open yet, so this one is for the days when you have a bit more time.

If you’re travelling by bus, Dublin Bus route 16 stops at Drumcondra station, a short walk from us, and runs on to Dublin Airport. The Route 16 timetable allows about half an hour from Drumcondra to the airport, with buses every 10 to 15 minutes for most of the day.
If you’re driving, there’s on-street parking near the café. We don’t have luggage storage, but there’s room in the café for 4 to 6 wheeled bags while you eat, so you can bring your case and go straight on to the airport.

Flying home in the evening? From Thursday to Saturday, our café becomes The Lovely Wine Bar from 6pm, with small plates, sharing boards and wines by the glass. Our guide to small plates in Drumcondra has everything you need to know.
