The all day menu is served whenever the café is open:
Breakfast runs until 12.30 on weekdays and 1pm at the weekend, so an early lunch can still be eggs. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm, the café becomes The Lovely Wine Bar.
A tartine is an open sandwich. Ours are made on toasted sourdough and served with rocket and a house dressed salad. You choose the topping:
Our burrata comes from Macroom Buffalo in West Cork, made with milk from a grass-fed herd of buffalo.

Our house special toasties are hot toasted sandwiches, and there are three:
If you like the toasties, similar fillings come as cold sandwiches and wraps on our catering menu for office lunches.
For something lighter, or something bigger, the rest of the all day menu has you covered:
The Lovely Granola, American style pancakes and our house sausage roll (pork, black pudding and apricot) are served all day too.

A good lunch doesn’t have to cost a lot. A few easy combinations:
For the kids, our Little Adults menu is available all day: sausage and eggs (€7.50), sausage and crispy baby potatoes (€8.50) or little pancakes with strawberries, banana and Nutella (€7.50).
Every lunch goes better with coffee. An Americano is €3.65, and a flat white, cappuccino or latte is €4.10. There’s chai and matcha latte (€4.65), breakfast and herbal teas (€3.50), and cold drinks such as orange juice (€4.15) and San Pellegrino (€3.00).
To finish, our pastries and cakes include croissants, scones, cinnamon buns, brownies, millionaire squares and cookies, and the lemon or marble cake slice is a gluten free option.
We cook with Irish produce from suppliers we know by name: Annalitten free range eggs from Castleblayney in County Monaghan, award-winning sausages from P O’Connell, black pudding from Dunnes of Wicklow and buffalo burrata from Macroom. It’s the same kitchen that makes our full Irish breakfast.
